Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) are the worlds’ top most websites according to Amazon’s Alexa web traffic tracker. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)proves to be the world’s most used search engine app. Having usage of 88% Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)is the world’s top most social network with almost 1.39 billion users monthly. Both are using advertising as their main publicity, it is said that Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)is planning to disturb Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s eco system in a big way.

How is that going to happen? Let’s discuss the strategic planning which is the Concealed OS on Facebook (NASDAQ:FB).Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)does not have a mobile OS which most of the other corporations like Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) enjoy. About two years back Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)tried to build up mobile OS with Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)home.

This could be the substitution launcher for Android but the app failed and no Android device could be transformed to Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)phone app. So Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)concentrated on building an invisible OS through its connected services. Parse was bought back in 2013, an mBaaS (mobile backend as a service) that gave Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)connections certain apps including user authentication, push notifications, and data analytics on varied mobile devices and platforms.

Parse is paid highly, while it is still unsegregated with Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)app install ads in the newsfeed. Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)obtained substitution profit from app sales by charging iOS and Android developers together for News Feed ads and mBaaS subscriptions through Parse. EversinceFacebook (NASDAQ:FB)got hold of Parse, its hosted apps raised upto 500,000 from 60,000. Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)’s ecosystem is enhancing its Messenger app.

With 500 million users is turning into a podium for dedicated apps. Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)has now unveiled the payment feature of messenger which makes it at the level of eBay’s PayPalandVenmo, Square Cash, and Google Wallet. This development is going to bring Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)messenger in comparison with Tencent’s WeChat, which have developed mini-app ecosystems within Android and iOS. Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)’s SSO (single sign-on) strategy is again an impeccable development.

SSO’s are widely used by both Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)in crafting ads because traditionally cookies are not designed to follow users across devices. Now this SSO strategy is definitely holding up Google (NASDAQ:GOOG)giving it a setback. Google+,which is in competition with Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)as social network has 2.2 billion users, but mostly it has inactive accounts which were just registered in order to activate their Android devices.

Analysts believe only 9% of the account meaning 198 million people have posted something or any related content on Google+. In January 2015 just 6.6 million users were active. Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)is surely far more stretched out in social networking definitely through SSO’s. Another main technique is that Facebook (NASDAQ:FB)allows users to embed their videos on other sites like Google’s Youtube.

Things haven’t been looking too bright for GoogleInc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) lately considering that the OEM partners of the company were only able to ship 720,000 of its smartwatches across the globe in the last year as reported by Canalys.

On the other hand, rivals have been taking over the market withSamsung Electronics (KRX:005930) 1.2 million unit shipments in the last year as reported by Smartwatch Group. It is also predicted that our very own tech giant, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) will sell as much as 10-30 million of its Apple Watches in the first year of launch.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) will have to pull up its socks if it wants to make amends in the market before the tech giant makes its big launch. One method that might just do the trick for Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is to make its Android Wear more compatible with the iOS devices. However, the question is, will the famous tech giant allow it?

We have been hearing rumors regarding the Google/Apple compatibility since last year and just this month, MohammadAG, a demonstrater showed us a way to combine the Android Wear with the iOS. He stated that this was done through the “iOS code” which is found inside Android 4.4.

Considering that Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) updates the Android Wear in order to work in sync with the iOS by May, there will be competition by tough Android Wear products for the Apple Watch.

But don’t get your hopes up. Major hurdles can stop this from happening such as technical as well as API ones. However, it is hardly unlikely that the tech giant will block out the Android Wear altogether. It might just cripple core features such as Android Pay, Google Now and Google Fit that may act as threats to Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ: AAPL)HealthKit, Siri and its Apple Pay. The tech giant had shown such an instance before as it crippled the Chrome browser of Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) thus forcing it to make do of a less fast version of the Javascript engine compared to Safari.

The tech giant might as well refuse in the matter of showcasing the Android Wear products at Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Stores the same way it did to Nike Inc. (NYSE:NKE), Mio, Jawbone and Fitbit devices.

In order to reduce the amount of dependence that the tech giant has on Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL), it has for many times tried to replace apps as well as search partnerships made with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). One extension of this basic strategy is the company’s Apple Watch.

One other advantage that the tech giant has over Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is price. In order to compete with the tech giants, huge mobile companies are now launching Android Wear products that are considerably pricey. The truth of the matter is that if an Android Wear product is more costly than the Apple Watch with lesser features in its system, than iPhone users may not find it appealing.

Any speculations regarding the change in programming language in Chrome that had been flouting in the air were discarded by Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL).The company announced today that Dart will not be replacing the standard JavaScript. Lately Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) had embarked upon a project in which Dart was incorporated instead of JavaScript; and this fact gave rise to all these replacement speculations.

Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) chose to opt for Dart owing to various brilliant advantages offered by the latter programming language. These advantages include static typing and other such incredible options. Initially Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) was planned to bring Dart on board to Chrome. This integration of Dart has been done by other browsers as well. Yet, Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) never did so and apparently as the circumstances indicate, it is never going to do so in future as well.

Lars Bak and Kasper Lund, the co- founders of Dart, said in this context that they had the kept the best interests of their users and the web as their first priority. This wasn’t merely confined to Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) alone and therefore in order to serve the bigger picture, their focus now is on the compilation of Dart into JavaScript. They have opted for this course instead of going for integration of Dart into Google Chrome.

Developers are carrying out data coding in Dart language primarily. Later on its compilation into JavaScript will take place. Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) on the other hand wanted to integrate Dart directly. Interestingly however, even though Google Inc.(NASDAQ:GOOGL) has refused to integrate Dart into its browser, still the company has a huge number of Dart codes in its possession, amounting to almost a million lines. This implies that both the firms will be coming across each other and that Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) cannot give up on Dart entirely. The co-founders of Dart asserted that Google Ads segment was incorporating Dart codes.

Scott Silver, who serves as the Ads VP of Engineering, asserted that the company’s focus would be to deploy Dart language in order to come up with all future web Apps. Moreover, the generation of an optimal JavaScript would go a long way in the delivery of brilliant Apps to anyone who makes use of a modern browser. Dart has not only influenced the productivity of engineers, rather it has also enabled a swift launch and consequent iteration.

There is a belief entrenched in programmers that Dart has had a pretty big influence on the development of latest versions of JavaScript. However, this announcement made by Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has made Dart’s future a little dubious. It probably is going to occupy the back-stage for a while since other browsers are also not very excited about taking up a new programming language. Mozilla especially doesn’t seem very keen about the prospects of Dart codes. These browsers aren’t into development of apps in such a language which might not be able to run on all browsers. So probably now Dart along with other languages such as CoffeeScript and TypeScript would get compiled into JavaScript.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has above $11 billion short-living investments in cash and only $119 million in longstanding financial obligation. These figures are calculated after spending on two major expenses; first $19 billion to take possession ofWhatsApp, a giant social messaging firm, and second $2 billion to win virtual reality organization Oculus VR in the beginning of the last year. The company also earned $12.5 billion last year along with the total profit of $10.3 billion for entire perimeter of approximately 82%. Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) market capitalization held at $234.6 billion similar to previous Friday.

DJIA components Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) has a market capitalization of $205.9 billion, whereas the market capitalization of Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE:KO) is $177.5 billion. Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has exceeded them already and has become greater than both of them.

There’s a huge difference between the balance sheets of Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) and Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) which has a longstanding debt of $110.5 billion. Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) has practically same amount of money and short-living investments. The point of differentiation comes at income and profits earned. Taking about Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ), the earnings for the last year were calculated to be $127.1 billion with a total profit of $77.1 billion, for a perimeter of almost 61%. The functional perimeter reached 15.4% in comparison to 40% at Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB).

Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE:KO) has an identical situation. It owes a longstanding debt of approximately $19 billion and short-living investments of almost $22 billion. The total income earned last year was calculated to be $46 billion with the addition of a profit found to be equal to $28.1 billion, for a perimeter of 61%. Working perimeter approached 21%.

All of these spending by Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE:KO)estimated to be $18.4 billion were transferred to SG&A the previous year. Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) paid out $2.7 billion on R&D as well as on SG&A. While Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) paid $41 billion on working expenditure in SG&A last year.

The major difference between these two old firms and Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) is because of the variation in their price to take possession, in the maintenance of physical assets, and giving out,and the price in winning distributing and in maintenance of a product, which will be manufactured once and supplied to uncountable users at practically incrementing no price.

Even though Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has so many rivals, but the positive part is that it doesn’t have to pay a huge part of its earning for creating its new users by attracting them or any other way. Social media has this benefit of free network effects, while this is not the case in real-world limitations. These effects later result in income, profit and shareholder price along with development. The hoard price ofFacebookInc. (NASDAQ:FB) has increased up to 200% as compared to that of July, 2013. Whereas in contrast to this, Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE:KO) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) reduced to 0.5%.Both Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE:KO) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) will have to get into totally novel business at a considerable price while Facebook still has chances to develop.

Owners of a small-scale business in America had made some judgments. If these are achieved, it would be a blessing and a huge benefit for Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter Inc. (NYSE:TWTR) in the current year and in the coming years.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) launched its Facebook Fit all over the state that provided a short intensive course of training for all compact business owners the previous year. Facebook followers must be familiar with it. It was basically developed to make owners of small business aware of the best platform that is Facebook Inc. (NASDAQL: FB), for their marketing also to motivate them and to make them learn the techniques of advertising their products on social media. According to latest reports, Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter Inc.’s (NYSE:TWTR) (to a smaller scale) concentration on small business was good enough.

Yearly investigation of small-scale business owners was conducted over the whole state by National Small Business Association NSBA in the recent past. According to the conclusions, 34% owners had a downfall and faced a loss, while 45% had an addition in their income during the last year. These results were above expectations for that year.

It made people who were answerable to the consequences delightful about their likelihoods for the present year. It was judged by National Small Business Association NSBA that in the next 12 months only 15% owners were expecting to face a loss while 60% of them would be able to increase their income. If this deduction happens to be true, this would be a remarkable turnaround.

Similarly, an investigation was held by an Alternative board, U.S. that had relatively more positive views and expectations, as stated by 82% of people who answered about the results and judged the increment in income during the next year.

More than half of the owners of compact business around the state will take help from advertisements and marketing for the enhancement of their revenues.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has over 2 million advertisers that are active, which means an ad has been posted during the past month by some business. Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) gathers, examines and finally uses the data on users performance. In addition to that it also makes a backup of that given data better that any other marketing and advertising site over the internet so far. This feature is highly demanded by the marketing people. Moreover, provision of novel tools and focus on small business owners is also one of the huge factors of Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) development of active advertisers.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) charges $1 million per day on a single video testing before they are released the present year. No owner of a small-scale business will be paying this much amount for any video spot. According to a calculation, almost 23 million compact business owners are there in US and they spend only $140 billion each year on local advertisements.

Many mega-corporations including advertisers of many local businesses, are using Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) for advertisements. For these and many more reasons, Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) business will be used by these compact businesses.

Pinterest and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) have formed a coalition and a finalized deal between the two companies is the outcome of this alliance. A new tool was introduced by Pinterest last month for its users. This tool is named as App pins and it enables the user to connect his/her iOS apps to Pinterest boards by pinning their links. Many individual interests like recipes, apparel etc. can be shared in this manner; and eventually Pinterest can go a long way in the discovery of new apps and games. When this happens, Pinterest would not only pose a severe threat to Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB), rather it can also emerge as its dire rival.

How does the two work?

Pinterest’s new tool has a dual pronged approach. It allows individuals to pin links of their individual iOS apps but apart from that, it also allows them to download any other iOS apps as well which he or she might come across. The only requirement is that you should possess an iOS operated device, like an iPhone or iPad to do so. But this seems a relatively easy requirement, since generally iOS users are the ones who are going to be interested in iOS apps in the first place.

Moreover, it not only enables you to pin your own links and download others which you might come across while surfing; rather Pinterest has also accumulated together a list of iOS apps of its own choice for the user. Furthermore, along with this board maintained by Pinterest, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) also has several boards of the like kind. These boards provide the users with several apps belonging to diverse arenas. But this tool will only show its real potency when users, particularly advertisers, start using it to reap its maximum advantage.

There is a wide variety of Apple Apps out there, yet users find it difficult to come across suitable ones for them in this myriad of choices. Therefore, to come over this problem, Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) deal with Pinterest is a step in the right direction. Users will have frequent exposure to various apps in this way and download any which might trigger their interest.

This is going to be a two-way process. In the beginning users might only come across links shares by their friends but later on as this tool unveils its real advertisement power, users are most likely going to have direct access to the app creators themselves.

What does this mean for Facebook (NASDAQ: FB)?

So eventually, this app can prove to be a dire challenge for Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB), since the latter company’s major reliance is on mobile app installations.

Although apparently both the companies vary in the way they work and in the things they offer; yet the present trend shows that Pinterest with its App Pin tool can become a serious hurdle for Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB ) . This might not be true for the users of Facebook, yet Pinterest might turn to be a better bait for advertisers present out there.

This project of Pinterest has just initiated. Pinterest formed this deal with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) only a few weeks ago. Yet, despite its infancy, it can cause a serious threat to Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) owing to its potent advertising potential and therefore it is something of which Facebook shareholders ought to be wary.
