Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s CEO Tim Cook must have been asked many questions since the last week. Ever since the iCloud hack fiasco broke out, the press has been looking forward to hear from him. Tim Cook before giving this statement remained quiet on the whole matter while letting his agents do the talking. They assured that the engineers are working in sync with the FBI to get to the individuals who did this.

Tim Cook in his usual calm demeanor proclaimed that the leak wasn’t from the inside and Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) systems are fool proof. The hack was successful because the hacker succeeded in answering all the security questions and getting to know the passwords of the celebrities who were on the receiving end of this hack. He further said that the hacker used various scams to obtain the sensitive information needed to get into an iCloud account.

Cook emphasized on the fact that Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) is hell bent on ‘upping’ its security measures. The successor of Steve Jobs said that to ensure the fact that no further breaches take place, Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) will send notifications and emails to the user if the password of their account is being changed, if the iCloud data is being restored to a new device or a new device logs into the account. He said that this will further reduce the chances of any hacker breaking into an account even if they acquire the password and username.

Cook said that Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) was the first to introduce modern age techniques for ensuring security in smartphones with its finger print sensor lock in iPhone 5S. Cook said that Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) has done more than any company in the business to make the people aware of cyber crime and have dissipated a lot of knowledge about personal security through complex passwords and codes. Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) also introduced the two-step authentication which would require a password, a four digit code or a longer code given to the purchaser of the device.

Security analysts aren’t satisfied, deeming the notification process a waste of time as it will only ‘alert’ you while your data is being robbed. They claim that Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) has sacrificed security for usability, making it quite easy for a hacker to break into the accounts of its users. They also claimed that requiring only passwords and passcodes make it easy for the cyber criminals to break through; hackers out there are quite skilled and are well acquainted with these feeble measures.

Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) is currently working with law enforcements such as FBI to probe the incident. Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) has a wide spread market and they know how much this incident is crucial to them. Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s integrity is on the line and Apple Inc, (NASDAQ:AAPL) certainly isn’t taking anything lightly.
