Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) withdraws thousands of vehicles for safety reasons

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) Motor Co has decided to recall about 74 thousand pieces of old model Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) escape and Mercury Mariner because they believe that the electronic hybrid system will overhead resulting in a lot of future complications which they don’t want to face. The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) seems to fully agree on recalling the hybrids, which will experience the powertrain to shut down upon overheating and result in the car stalling which increases the risk of an accident.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) spokesmen said that the overheating may lead to serious problems such as crashes and fire eruption which they want to avoid for the safety of the public and the driver, although no such incidents have been recorded as of yet. But Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) doesn’t want to take any chances on the malfunctioning coolant pump.

The recall includes 3,500 vehicles from Canada and the rest from all around the United States. Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is also recalling its Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) Focus sedans which amount to about 400 vehicles of the latest model and the Lincoln MKC crossovers from the 2015 model. Apparently there’s a problem with the fuel delivery module filter, although no accidents or injuries have been reported related to this problem as well.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is also recalling a set of Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) Big Trucks from Canada and the United States, over the issue of seals on fuel filters. Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) once again claimed that no accidents or crashes were caused because of the vehicle.

The recalls will not only cause them a huge extra expenditure but will also nullify the sales they made with these cars and upset their financial statements for the past as well as current year. Such recall instead of getting applause is getting the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) a lot of doubt from the public. Rival companies are also trying to tarnish their reputation and mocking the recall process as face saving, instead of the due diligence which it is.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) assures that it’s not a retreat of any kind but merely a self-assessment recall, they will come back in the market as strong as they have ever been. They will reprocess the cars and remedy whatever is wrong in them. Also, in the long run it can be a good bet that the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) will come back stronger than ever as it has a reputation of being one of the most top motor corporations in the business and the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has made a safe bet to withdraw the faulty cars. Who knows what they could’ve led to?

However, it makes one wonder why is the quality control at Ford (NYSE:F) being overlooked at such a great extent. The recalls are concerning not just one but a multitude of problems and this makes one scared as to what else will be recalled and is the Ford (NYSE:F) vehicle really safe to drive or not…
