Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) does not let go of any opportunity to please its customers; it does it again when the holiday season is right around the corner. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) offers its Amazon Wish List where you can add your favorite items for the holiday season. The best thing about this feature is that you can do it through your Twitter account.

Why is it such as appealing offer? Customers keep getting tweets from some of their favorite experts, artists, brands, stores or even friends that contain new and different items. If that tweet contains a product link from Amazon.com they can easily add that item from that tweet to their Amazon Wish List. All they have to do is type “#AmazonWishList” in their replies and post; the item gets automatically added to their Wish List.

According to Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s Director of Social, John Yurcisin, Twitter is a great platform for Amazon customers to discover new and innovative products from different sources; he believes that Amazon Wish List will make it easier for its customers to acquire these items by adding them directly to their holiday shopping carts.

Users will get a notification from @MyAmazone as a reply tweet confirming their latest addition to the Wish List. However this notification will only be received by customers who have connected their Amazon and Twitter accounts. They will also get an email about the confirmation. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) will also send a tweet to those customers who have not connected their Twitter accounts with Amazon – the tweet will ask them to link both accounts to enjoy this latest feature.

This new feature is bound to boost Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) sales because one in every three Amazon shoppers added items to their Wish List last year. With this ratio Amazon received 50 Wish List items every second. Holiday season always makes the Amazon Wish List an extremely popular platform among its mobile and online shoppers. Some of the most popular features of Amazon Wish List are;

  • Don’t Spoil My Surprises – your wish list items can remain a surprise for you
  • Save – A – Photo – you can take a picture of any item and add it to your Amazon Wish List
  • Virtual Notes – you can add your idea of a gift in your virtual notes for everyone to see
  • Universal Wish List Add-on – you can add items to your Wish List from any website you visit
