Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is working on a few extremely important agreements with the Chinese government; the meetings are being held in the capital Beijing. The chief executive of the corporation Satya Nadella has assured the government officials that Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) will fully assist and cooperate with the Chinese authorities for the antitrust inquiry.

The current anti-monopoly investigation against Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), which is in process, has completely baffled the company and has taken the executives completely off-guard. This investigation was initiated this summer by the China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC). According to the SAIC reports much evidence has been gathered regarding the investigation from various Microsoft offices all across China, based on these facts the official department has called on many high executives for further inquiry.

A very brief and mollifying meeting took place between the chief of SAIC, Zhang Mao and Nadella, who in February took over the reins of the world’s largest software company.

According to records that appeared on the official website of SAIC, it has been stated that Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has provided the Chinese officials with necessary help in a timely and fair way. The company will continue to fully support all aspects of this investigation and try to satisfy the government officials. According to SAIC Nadella has gone on record to say that such intense and regular checking ensures a healthy environment for the foreign companies to grow and develop. Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has avoided making comments regarding any meeting with the SAIC but it has ensured that it takes this inquiry seriously and will assist in any way possible to abide by the rules and regulations set by the Chinese government.

Zhang on the other hand has also promised that these investigations will be crystal clear and the official department will warmly welcome any kind of suggestions, queries, uncertainty and proposals put forth by the multinational organization.

Satya Nadella who was recently made the CEO of Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) made his first official trip to Chinese capital, Beijing on his first trip to the Asian region as CEO of the company. Addressing the students at Tsinghua University in the capital, he appreciated the Chinese culture and said that the values in China are highly decorated and celebrated, which makes its culture a blend of modernism and traditional morals. This step was purposely taken by the CEO of Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) to disseminate the long building tensions between the software company and the law authorities. The recent industrial law passed by the China in the year 2008 is something that has not gone down well with the Western companies. They find this law very unsettling and disconcerting. To avoid further misunderstanding Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s CEO took the first step in creating a harmonies atmosphere.

Another company that sent its president Derek Aberle to Beijing was Qualcomm Incorporation. The company is facing a potentially the highest fine charged to date. The meeting between the president of Santiago based company and the Chinese officials was held in the presence of National Development and Reforms Commission (NDRC), one of the three antitrust agencies in China along with SAIC.
