There is a lot of disappointment in store for those who have been waiting so patiently for the flagship release of the upcoming Windows Phone. The highly talked about, top of the line Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Lumia Mclaren cell phone, which was arranged to be released in March on the event of MWC 2015, has been pushed to release somewhere in late September 2015. The information has been released by Geekongadgets, which asserts Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) will now be releasing some low-end phones at that event.

The sources who spoke to Geeksongadgets only did so on the condition of complete confidentiality and told them that at the Mobile World Congress, which is the biggest mobile convention in the world, people will witness the release of the new 6-series Nokia Lumia and some other low-end phones. The same sources also affirmed that there will be no releases of top of the line phones at this convention. HTC CORP (TPE:2498), Song and LG (KRX:003550) are also planning to release their flagship products very soon, possibly in the coming months of 2015. If these rumors are proven to be true and completely genuine, then Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s next flagship and McLaren, which is the successor of Lumia 1020 will not be arriving in the market any time before September 2015. This implies that Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Lumia 1520 and Lumia 920 will remain crowned kings of Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT).

They will be waging war with the much anticipated Sony (TYO:6758) Xperia Z4, Samsung Galaxy S6, LG (KRX:003550) G4, HTC (TPE:2498) One M9, and many others which are set to release soon.
