Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) will be launched in this month

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is all set to unleash its new smart phone in this month. According to the people familiar with this situation, the new, giant Google Nexus 6 will be revealed later this month. This phone will be manufactured by the mobile giant, Motorola Mobility (NYSE:MMI). This news aligns perfectly with the rumors that have been going around for a while relating to the new phone and the reports that have been published earlier. The new Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) smart phone will have a 5.9-inch display. It has also been reported that Nexus 6 will be launched the same day as the new Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s Android version will be released. The new version of Android is currently called Android L.

Clearly, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has been working to produce a new phone with a significantly larger display than that of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung (NASDAQ:SSNLF)’s Galaxy Note 4. The diagonal length of Nexus 6 is about 6 inches. The new phone is one inch shorter than the standard size of a tablet.

There are very few phones that will be as large as this Nexus 6. These include Samsung Galaxy Mega which has two models – one with 5.8-inch display and the other with 6.3-inch display.

For those who have been following news around Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s smart phone, this news is not particularly “new” for them. However, considering the frequency of these reports and the fact that now the Wall Street Journal is also saying the same thing as other reporters that Nexus 6, will in fact, be launched within this month, means that the rumors are not just rumors – they are true! Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) will be releasing the new Nexus 6 this month.

In the last year, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) revealed their smart phone Nexus 5 and the then new Android version 4.4, KitKat, during the holiday season on 31 October. So, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the company launches Nexus 6 along with Android L, the new Android version, on the same date this year.

In the last month, a handful of new features and specifications of the new smart phone, Nexus 6, were reported. Nexus 6 will have a high resolution screen, about 2566×1440. The smart phone will also have a front camera of 2-megapixel and a back camera of 13-megapixel resolution.

It is doubtless that the Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Nexus series is among the most popular smart phones. Every year a new Nexus phone is released and it is met with great admiration. Currently, Google Inc. (NASDQ:GOOG) launched the fifth gen Nexus phone manufactured by LG. It comes with Android 4.4. Now the company is all set to release the new phone with the new version of Android.

The company started the smart phone series with an HTC manufactured phone. Then, a Samsung Nexus was released and soon after, the LG Nexus. This year, the company is now looking to release a Motorola-manufactured Nexus phone.
