This company had entered an agreement with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to supply them with scratch-resistant, sapphire-glass for the new iPhones. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) said that they will try to work with GT Advanced Technologies (NYSE:GTAT). The company had fallen about 92% in the beginning of this week and arrived at 92 cents per shares. The stock had improved slightly later, but then it fell again on Wednesday. On Thursday, the shares increased by 11.8% and closed at $1.23.
AT&T Inc. (NASDAQ:T)
AT&T Inc. (NASDAQ:T) had come to an agreement with the federal government and the authorities of the state for adding unauthorized charges to the consumer bills. According to the agreement, the company will be paying $105 million dollars for this. The company will pay dividend worth 46 cents by 3rd of November. The announcement was made on the same day as the agreement with the federal state was reached. In the morning-trade, the company shares fell by 0.4%.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NASDQ:VZ)
This is the largest wireless carrier of the U.S. It has a dividend planned for 3 November itself. The company will have a new Nexus 5 phone with the help of Motorola (NASDAQ:MMI). On Wednesday, the company shares increased by 1.5% and closed at $49.87.
Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC)
The company spends about $4 billion on its research and development department in a year. The analysts are considering the possibility of the company bringing an evolution in the smartphone microchip market in order to make up for all the costs in R&D. On Wednesday, the company shares increased by 2% during the trading session.
