1893

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) has released five different versions of its latest software, iOS 8. The major version of this software, iOS 8.2, will be released into the market during the first quarter of the year 2015. However, the market has seen a video shedding light on the features of the latest iOS 8.2.

Meanwhile, the users of iPad and iPhones are still facing issues with the Bluetooth, battery life and Wi-Fi features of their gadgets. Rumors have it that in order to solve these problems, Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) has planned a surprise for its customers. The company will soon be releasing a new version of iOS.

According to the blog on MacRumours, a reliable source, evidence has been collected that suggests that Apple has some of its devices running on the iOS 8.1.3 versions. According to the blog, the hits on Apple website, for this software, were quite low. Mostly, the figures remained at a few dozens. The traffic for iOS 8.1.3 is low, but the graph is continuously moving upwards. Where most of these web visitors are fake identifiers, some of the hits are coming from Apple’s network, which shows that the company has been working on the development of iOS 8.1.3.

Market experts are unaware of the features that the new software will have. Similarly, the date of the arrival is unknown too. Some of the analysts are of the view that the software will be launched in the month of January. That being said, it is a fact that iOS 8.1.3 will be launched before the release of iOS 8.2, and since iOS 8.2 will be released in the first quarter of the year 2015, chances are that iOS 8.1.3 will be released either in the month of January of February.

iOS 8.1.3 has to undergo certain tests with the developers before it can be launched into the market. Since Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) does not usually seeds testing with the developers for its minor releases, word has it that this release will be a big one.

Market experts are of the opinion that iOS 8.1.3 will be released before iOS 8.2 in order to win the confidence of the users back.  According to the website of Apple developers, around 63 percent of the iPhones are now equipped with iOS 8. It is important to mention here that this is the slowest software uptake in the history of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL). Perhaps the reason why more users are not upgrading their phones to the latest software is the problems that the iOS 8 entails. Apple needs to launch a good version of its iOS software in order to address the problems with the previous versions software.

As for the stocks of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL), the company is currently trading in the range of $112.01 and $112.71.  On the last trade day, December 24, 2014, Apple opened its shares at a price of $112.58 and closed at a reduced price of $112.01. The company has a dividend yield of 1.68 percent.
