Combination of Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Releases

Continues launch of various smartphone models one after the other doesn’t come as a surprise, in light of the current market demands. Even though, this market is ruled by Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) and HTC; other companies have also launched various smartphone models from time to time. With latest features, extended battery life and high performance; some smartphones are set at high prices, but several other models are available at affordable prices.

Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is a relatively new name in the smartphone business. Its focus is to break the strong grip, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) hold in this industry. Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and partner companies have come a long way, since the release of Nexus 6. This smartphone was developed in collaboration with Motorola (NYSE:MSI). This phone came wrapped in contoured aluminum frame, along with a 6 inch HD display and 13 mega-pixel camera. The front facing camera makes it an ideal choice for watching movies and playing games. One of its best qualities is its extended battery life. It uses the Turbo charger which gives over six hours of use with just fifteen minutes of charging.

Next in line is Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s tablet Nexus 9. For this, Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) sought assistance from HTC. The Nexus 9 is packed in metal console. It has an 8.9 inch screen, which makes it compact enough to be carried in one hand, yet big enough to be classed as a tablet. Since on screen keyboard tends to be hard to use and frustrating for some, however, Nexus 9 comes with a keyboard folio that can easily be put together and used, and afterwards it can be folded away and attached back to the Nexus. This feature provides a laptop experience.

Another venture that Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is experimenting with, is a device that runs Android TV. In collaboration with Asus; Nexus player was developed. It not only provides user with media player for movies, music and video, but also allows users to have gaming experience. One of its unique features is to play a game on your HDTV with a gamepad, and later continue the game on your phone. Nexus player caters to users, by allowing them to run their favorite entertainment on any device, be it phone, Chromebook or Android tablet. It can also be viewed on TV screens.

According to Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s official announcement, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player are expected to hit stores on November 3, but the company starts taking pre-orders on October 17. Similar is the case with Nexus 6. The pre-orders can be placed in late October and the device will be up for grabs in November. Different carriers like AT&T (NYSE: T), Sprint (NYSE: S), T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS), US Cellular and Verizon (NYSE: VZ), will be offering different packages and deals.

Android 5.0 Lollipop OS that runs on Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and the Nexus Player is also expected to be used in the Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10 versions.
