Entegris Inc(NASDAQ:ENTG) is higher in pre-market trading after the company said Thursday it is raising its outlook for Q2 or the quarter ending June 28, with non-GAAP earnings now expected to exceed Street estimates, while revenue is anticipated to be in line. 

Entegris (NASDAQ:ENTG) Shares are up 4.25% at $13.26, on track to exceed the 52-week high of $12.72 established in the previous session. 

The provider of yield-enhancing materials and solutions for advanced manufacturing processes said it now expects sales of $235 million – $245 million, which includes two months of results of ATMI, Inc. which Entegris acquired on April 30, 2014. Excluding ATMI results, the company’s updated guidance reflects expected sales of $175 million – $185 million. The previous guidance range was for sales of $165 million -$175 million. 

It expects to report a net loss of approximately $25 million – $30 million, or a loss per share of $0.18 – $0.22, which includes purchase accounting adjustments, transaction-related costs from the ATMI transaction, acquisition integration expenses and other one-time costs. Excluding these items and expected amortization expense, which in aggregate total $53 million, subject to final purchase accounting adjustments, non-GAAP net income is expected to be $24 million – $28 million, and non-GAAP EPS to be $0.17 – $0.20. 

The company previously expected Q2 net income of $13 million – $18 million, and EPS of $0.09 -$0.13. On a non-GAAP basis, ENTG previously expected EPS to range from $0.10 to $0.14, adjusted for expected amortization expense of $2.3 million or $0.01 per share. 

Analysts polled by Capital IQ are expecting revenue of $184.83 million and non-GAAP EPS of $0.13.
