Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) plans to enter into the world of automate management with its high quality and much appreciated Azure products. The company plans to start analytics and monitoring projects for its cloud computing. The company, during a conference on October 28, 2014, in Barcelona, disclosed its intention to make its Azure products popular among the clients.

During the conference, the company gave some insights on its Azure products; customers can use Azure products for management and monitoring purposes simply by locating an agent on company’s servers. After installing Azure, the customers can remain updated on the configuration changes, capacity shortages and missing systems. The logic is no different than other companies that provide similar cloud computing services.

According to Microsoft Azure’s vice president, Jason Zander, the process of uploading the data to Azure is really simple and the insights that the customers can undo are really strong.

It is important to note here that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) allows the IT department of each firm to choose their own intelligence pack. The company currently provides 8 different packs, and each of them serves different functions. All the packs have different combinations of visualization, logic and data acquiring rules.

Microsoft has launched the operational insight and the firms can try out those insights through the preview version that the company provides. According to market analysts, this launch by Microsoft gives the company an edge over its rival, Amazon.

The vice president of Forrester Research who is also one of the chief researchers at the company, Stefan Ried, is of the opinion that the operational insights provided by Azure are quite helpful for complicated scenarios. He went on to say that Amazon has overlooked such insights in its web services, which goes against the firm’s future prospects in the respective field.

It is pertinent to note here that Amazon enjoys a strong status in the market of public clouds; however, the company still needs to go a long way in hybrid and private cloud services. The rivals of Amazon are trying hard to create a need for hybrid and private clouds in the market. These rivals include Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, VMware, Cisco and Rackspace.

During the TechEd conference in Barcelona, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) launched its Azure Automation and Azure Batch. The company has introduced these products in the market so as to catch up with the progress of Amazon.

Azure Batch’s aim is to make Azure more data friendly. The product offers high class job scheduling, thus making it easier for the clients to run high quality and large scale computing work. Moreover, Batch can be used for image processing, stress rate calculation, financial calculations and mathematical simulations.
