What to expect from Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPad launch

In light of declining popularity of the iPad devices since last year, it was a common belief that Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) might consider to discontinue their production. However, such a development is unlikely, and Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) is ready to give its iPad category another shot, with the release of new iPads along with Mac computers, this month. These iPads will be laced with powerful security features and enhanced specifications.

A total of 225 million iPads have been sold so far, even though the overall sales have been suffering a decline for quite a while. IPad sales have gone down down by 9 percent for the current year. Therefore, Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) aims to reverse the existing slump with the launch of the new iPads.

Currently, there are several speculative internet based rumours that the new iPad pro has an impressive display, with a 12.9 inches screen, and a 9.7-inch and a 7.9-inch screen for the iPad Air and iPad Mini, respectively. These will be laced with the usual Touch ID sensor and redesigned hardware buttons. The new software system will bring in the latest health apps that have been creating ripples for the past few months.

Analysts are also expecting the A8 chip to be installed in the iPad to speed up the processing. It’s also being reported that the mega device will come in different colors.

Touch ID will eliminate the hassle of typing passwords. Automatic Code encryption and various other security measures will also be a part of the new iPad.

IPad have had a few and far between releases, as compared to the iPhone series. That is because most people don’t replace iPads on an annual basis. Analysts believe that this might be the reason behind the decline in the sales. When they initially came out in 2010, they took the market by a storm, but with the passage of time, sales began to fall.

The popularity of iPad hasn’t faded away yet, that is why their anticipated release is one of the hot topics in the market, these days. But there are certain questions that come to mind. When iPad initially came out almost half a decade ago, there wasn’t much competition. Considering that several tech giants have launched their own versions of phablets, it remains to be soon how Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) aims to tackle this scenario and keep abreast of the competition in the market.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) will be unveiling these iPads on Thursday. One hopes that the category rejuvenates because iPads are known to be reliable devices. Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) must give equal concentration to the iPad and iPhone series when it comes to releases. It can be a little burdensome financially, but if Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) releases an iPhone and an iPad once a year, the overall Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) sales will progress.

Regardless of everything, any new launch of Apple’s product attracts a lot of attention and since it’s the revival of iPad, this one is bound to be promising
