Your Guide to the Right iPhone (NASDAQ:AAPL)

13

The market is experiencing doubts about which phone to buy with Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iphone 6 and 6 Plus along with the carry overs from previous years making it a total of four models to choose from.

Here we give you a simple walkthrough of all the benefits you can get but the first thing you have to make sure is whether you want a phone or not. If not, then you might want to save the next couple of minutes and the extra cash that you have in your wallet and spend it on something else. However, if you have already decided then let’s begin our quest for the right iphone:

What is upgrade eligibility?

If you’re looking for an iPhone 6 on a 2-year contract with as little to pay as $199, then by dialing the following numbers, you will get easy information regarding your status in no time: Sprint- text UPGRADE to 1311, AT&T (NYSE:T) – call on *639# or Verizon (NYSE:VZ) – call on #874.

What will this phone cost?

Starting with the 5c, you can enjoy this with as little as $0. Prices for the 5S have come down to $99 or $149 while the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are $199/$299/$399, and $299/$399/$499 respectively.

However, without discount eligibility you will have to add $450 to these prices.

Should I pre-order or wait in line on Friday?

This week was full of ups and downs for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL); from the launch of its most awaited iPhone to its website overloading with preorders. However, many models of iPhone 6 will be shipped in about 7-10 days thus making their way towards you some time close to the launch. However, the 6 Plus includes a 3-4 week configuration backlog thus pre-ordering now may get you to it by launch day.

What should I buy?

With so many options to choose from, let us start from the latest; the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. First of all, size matters and both these models are larger in screen size. They are even thinner than the previous models, hitting about 7mm, meaning sliding them into your pocket is easier.

The iPhone 6 Plus has a better battery life along with higher pixels per inch and a new and improved camera. There is also a difference in both their weights with iPhone 6 at 4.55 oz. and 6 plus at 6.07 oz.

Another point is memory. The extra $100 in 6 Plus will get you a 48GB difference instead of the basic 16GB. Thus if you are one to download a lot of songs and take a lot of pictures than this is what you should choose.

If the new features don’t matter to you and you can live off a smaller screen size than any one of the iPhone 5s or 5c models is okay for you. 5s includes fingerprint sensing and 32GB memory making it not such a bad option. Not to mention, it’s also a huge money saver!
